Guy Ritchie

Guy Ritchie
Guy Ritchie was born in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, UK in 1968. He never attended film school, saying that the work of film school graduates was boring and unwatchable. Married to Madonna and divorced this director has introduced a new way in which films are presented.

Trade Mark:
Frequently uses narration.
Numerous plot threads which intersect and assist in each others payoffs
Often works with Jason Statham, Mark Strong and Matthew Vaughn.
Frequently employs the use of high speed photography in action sequences.
Frequent use of humor in violent scenes.

Among these the highlighted one is the x-factor which makes me watch his movies again and again. Also I have included his two most favorite films for display.

Snatch( 2000)

Unscrupulous boxing promoters, violent bookmakers, a Russian gangster, incompetent amateur robbers, and supposedly Jewish jewelers fight to track down a priceless stolen diamond. And in between you get all the trade marks of Guy Ritchie.Must watch movie.

Lock ,Stock and Two Smoking Barrels(1998)

Along these movies there are others too which have baffled me. RocknRolla, Sherlock Holmes are also good movies. If you enjoy action, comedy, effects, originality you will enjoy the works of Guy Ritchie.
